Although I have a limited species collection, I wanted to share with you
some of my photos. I also wanted to present a bloom study. Please keep in
mind that not all pictures represent the true color, which can be difficult
in certain light, or maybe it's just my camera. Natural light makes the
flowers look bluer and artificial light makes them look too pink.
Some pictures are intended to show the shape and characteristics of the
flower more so than the color itself. Remember that this is how my plants
look in my growing conditions. Your plants may differ slightly. Thanks for looking!
Miniature Sweetheart
6. cl. brevipilosa
Happy springtime blooms cheer up the
plant room
Notice the texture of the petals.

The back side of the brevipilosa flower has a texture as
well. All of the flowers seem to have the "creases" on the two upper petals. Color not true in this photo

brevipilosa leaves are about 4cm or 1-1/2 to 1-5/8 inch
wide on my two plants which I have been growing for about 4 years.

These are very large leaves for such tiny plants.
My brevipilosa plants grow in 3-ounce solo cups and rarely reach more
than 5 inches across.
